IMCD Nordic acquires Multichem-Wallinco

IMCD Nordic, subsidiary of IMCD Group, has acquired all shares of Multichem-Wallinco AS, based in Oslo, Norway. Multichem-Wallinco is a leading Norwegian distributor of food & feed additives and specialty chemicals, with more than 60 years of successful servicing the Norwegian industry.

Multichem-Wallinco's activities will be coordinated with the Norwegian operations of IMCD, creating a strong platform for further growth.

Didrik von Porat, Managing Director of IMCD Nordic: "We are delighted to have Multichem-Wallinco team up with our already successful Nordic organisation. We see great opportunities to cross-fertilising the knowledge of the two organisations, creating additional added value for our customers and suppliers."

The IMCD Group which has its head office in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, has a turnover of €900M and has 800 staff.

The Group has offices and warehouses located in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Africa.
