Melrob have announced that, effective 1st July 2012, they will be taking over the distribution of Arizona Chemical's adhesive product lines in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Melrob will be responsible for Arizona's broad portfolio of products for the adhesive industry including their hot melt polyamides, rosin and terpene resin tackifiers and dispersions. The appointment reinforces the strategic importance of the adhesives industry to Melrob.
Melrob is one of the fast-growing UK-based specialty chemical distributors. Sales have increased from around €10M in 2006 to over €50M in 2011 with over 50% of the Group's revenue coming from international sales. The Group's rapid development internationally was recognised by the company's listing in the Sunday Times International Track 100 in 2011.
