Name change for Solvents and Chemicals Inc

On October 10, 2008 Solvents and Chemicals, Inc. changed its corporate name to SolvChem Inc. The company also has a new company logo and tagline to reflect the company’s renewed strength as an organization and its commitment to customer focus, safety, and continuous improvement.

President Jean-Pierre Baizán belives the new SolvChem brand embodies their culture and reinforces their core value of continuous improvement.

Headquartered in Pearland, Texas, SolvChem, Inc. is a family-owned, minority-certified business founded in 1981. The company is a full-line distributor of top-grade organic and inorganic chemicals, with capabilities ranging from chemical processing to contract packaging. SolvChem is among the top 40 chemical distributors in the nation, regularly ranking in Purchasing Magazine’s annual Top 100 Chemical Distributors survey.
