Dolder and Chemswiss form new JV to source and supply pharma API's
Dolder AG and Chemswiss have merged their pharma businesses to form a new JV, DCS Pharma AG based in Basel, Switzerland effective January 1, 2016. Dolder brings over 100 years' experience in the trade of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API's) with Chemswiss adding further experience in the supply of hormones and steroids and sourcing APIs from Chinese manufacturers.

Besides supplying a range of products to the the pharmaceutical, veterinary, nutraceutical and specialized chemical industries, DCS Pharma will also offer comprehensive portfolio of added value services including regulatory compliance, patent investigations and independent GMP audits.
DCS Pharma AG is expected to have sales of EUR 40 million in 2016 and has around 50 employees with offices in Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Turkey, USA, Mexico and China. The board of DCS Pharma includes Dr. Matthys Dolder, Chairman & CEO of the Dolder Group and Beat Berger of Chemswiss who has been appointed as the new CEO of the DCS Pharma Group.
