Biesterfeld Plastic GmbH have taken 100% ownership of their joint venture company, Biesterfeld Nordic AB based in Malmo, Sweden. With effect from 1st of December 2014 Biesterfeld Plastic GmbH purchased the remaining 50% shares of Biesterfeld Nordic AB from JV partner Fred Holmberg and with the share acquisition Biesterfeld Plastic also became sole proprietor of the Finish subsidiary, Biesterfeld Nordic & Co OY, Hamina, Finland.

Jens Imbeck, Managing Director of Biesterfeld Nordic AB and executive employee of Biesterfeld Plastic GmbH stated: “Our aim is to expand further in Scandinavia, and to extend our product portfolio to enter new segments and branches. We are going to strengthen our Sales Team in the coming year to achieve this.”

The share purchase underlines the long-term focus and commitment of Biesterfeld Plastic in Scandinavia and Finland region.
