Leading distributor in Asia-Pacific, Connell Brothers acquires Australian enzyme distributor
Connell Bros. Co. Australasia Pty Ltd., a subsidiary of Wilbur-Ellis Company, has announced that it has acquired the business of Enzyme Solutions Pty Ltd based in Melbourne, Australia. The acquisition is seen as a good strategic fit to Connell Brothers' current business in the Asia-Pacific region, and expands the company's ingredient portfolio to a wide range of industries, including food, home care, animal feed, and industrial applications. Enzyme Solutions was formed in 1997 and has a dediciated staff of 9 people. Besides distribution, the company has technical capabilities in the tailoring and blending of enzymes for various applications.
