It happened in 1992 during a meeting of 5 business friends from 4 different countries (Belgium, Holland, Ireland and UK)…a thought emerged…and that was to create a group of independent chemical distribution companies across the world to help and assist each other, and to do business in a unique, open way. Apart from sourcing directly from one another, INDIS members would combine marketing resources to enhance business opportunity, establish new enterprises, and share vital information to the group's benefit.
Participation in INDIS has become an integral strength of each member's business. It offers access to an international network of knowledge, which complements local identity and expertise. Today, INDIS is a group of over 20 chemical distribution companies throughout the world who work together to foster trade between each other and who share common principles and objectives.
